DC tipped me that Steve would be in my "neck of the woods" so
I was able to obtain Steve's cell number and we arranged for an
impromptu Mini-Reunion. I took MP along as I knew she
would "throw me out of the woods" if she found out I met Steve
without her...nah...just kidding...Steve and MP are like old
friends...both share many common interests that harkens back
to the Lake Myers weekends
so I had to get
these two together.
Anyway, we all chewed the fat
discussing his trip to Knightdale
and what we did during this year's Homecoming. We updated Steve
on our Classmates doings, what the current plans are for the 40th
Anniversary Reunion, and all that good stuff...Memory Lanes...eh?
His father, a retired preacher, is in the planning stages of moving to an
assisted living housing and Steve came down east to assist in packing up
books from his father's library. Steve's son, also a preacher, followed
Steve in a separate vehicle to help pack up the books.
chatted for two and a half hours...wow...time flies.
it was great to see you again!
And a tip o' the hat to DC
me know Steve was coming to town.
